As a result, it contributes to the condition of our bones, teeth, and even our mood! Deficiency and excess of the aforementioned vitamin will have a negative impact on our health. It is therefore worth taking care of its appropriate level.<\/p>\n<h2>Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lower resistance to stress &#8211; vitamin D deficiency makes us more susceptible to stress, we get angry more easily (vitamin D affects serotonin levels in the brain).<\/li>\n<li>Drowsiness &#8211; people struggling with vitamin D deficiency complain of drowsiness, lack of energy to act.<\/li>\n<li>Higher risk of fractures &#8211; vitamin D deficiency also means a higher risk of fractures and dental diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Susceptibility to pain &#8211; in the case of deficiency, we also deal with greater susceptibility to pain, primarily musculoskeletal pain.<\/li>\n<li>Poorer heart condition &#8211; insufficient vitamin D levels also contribute to spikes in blood pressure and a worsening of heart condition.<\/li>\n<li>Problems with the skeletal system &#8211; another effect of vitamin D deficiency are problems with the bone, including skeletal curvature and degeneration, and body deformity.<\/li>\n<li>Increased risk of autoimmune diseases &#8211; vitamin D deficiency also contributes to an increased risk of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis or multiple sclerosis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vitamin D is sourced from food and sunlight, which causes its synthesis through the skin. Vitamin D deficiency is a common problem, so it is worth considering supplementation, after prior testing. However, remember to do it under the supervision of a specialist who will help us choose the right dose. Additionally, it is worth introducing a well-balanced diet.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>REMEMBER! There are many vitamin D supplements on the market, but it is best to choose products sold as medicine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Vitamin D and diet<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Fatty fish: salmon, mackerel, herring<\/li>\n<li>Eggs<\/li>\n<li>Liver<\/li>\n<li>Organic vegetable oils<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>IMPORTANT! Especially during the holiday season, let&#8217;s not forget about SPF creams. They protect against the negative effects of UV radiation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To sum up, Vitamin D plays a very important role in our body. Its deficiency, as well as excess, negatively affects our health and well-being. It is therefore worth taking care of the appropriate level of the mentioned vitamin. A well-balanced diet, taking care of exercise and spending time outdoors are important.
