Wake up with spring
On March 21, we celebrate the First Day of Spring. The whole world begins to come to life, the first buds appear on the trees, and outside the window you can hear birds singing more and more often. The days are getting longer, and with this there are new amounts of energy that we want to use as best as possible to get out of the winter lethargy. There is no better way to do it than to stimulate our body from the inside in order to get rid of winter excess luggage. Quoting the famous words of Hippocrates “let food be medicine and medicine be food”, let us take care of our health for the new season with a properly selected diet. Especially for this occasion, lek. med. Agnieszka Arendarczyk has put together for you a proposal of a menu that will decompress your body after the long winter months. After following such a diet for a period of at least 4 weeks, you will notice a significant reduction in body fat, gut circumference and water retained in the body. The basis of the proposed menu is to ensure an adequate supply of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), which is a condition for maintaining a proper hormonal balance, as well as minimal amounts of protein, thanks to which the connective tissue will not be reduced.
The proposed model of the menu:
1st breakfast: – 3x week salad of your favorite vegetables with avocado and three yolks – 2x weekly sardines sprinkled with lemon juice with the addition of your favorite vegetables – 2x weekly porridge with 3-4 tablespoons of cereal, soaked in the evening, cooked for about 3-5 minutes in water with the addition of two teaspoons of hemp protein
Lunch: – 3x week of fish or seafood (boiled, stewed or baked) with the addition of warm vegetables – 2x weekly veal meat or turkey with the addition of warm vegetables – any soup 2 times a week (but without the addition of flour, pasta and cream)
Lunch: – any soups (without flour, pasta and cream), they can be in the form of creams – warm vegetables with the addition of olive oil or butter and favorite herbs – cooked or baked starchy vegetables (e.g. potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, beets) with the addition of butter or oil and herbs
Dinner: – any soups (without flour, pasta and cream), they can be in the form of creams – warm vegetables with the addition of olive oil or butter and favorite herbs
